11 AM-1 PM ** Plant and Map the Garden, with Farming Concrete (for children)

Plant crops, weigh vegetables, and make a map of whats growing in the garden planting areas.

1-2 PM ** East River Ecology Walk

Walk to the river with the Lower East Side Ecology Center and the students from the "This is our River Project", and test the water. Llearn about our estuary habitat.

2-3:30 PM ** Easy Ways to Go Green

A presentation on recycling and lowering your energy bills with information on consumer rights and a free program for moderate-income families and seniors to make energy-saving upgrades.
